Interpretation

• Imaginative ideas, pertinent to chosen title, developed throughout
• Well planned with no plot holes
• Not too convoluted
• Well fleshed out cast and storyline

Language 

• effective and imaginative use of literal and figurative description;
• exciting vocabulary, synonyms. 5-10 exceptional words. 10 Decent words
• Use of devices such as metaphors, similes, imagery etc.
• Unique use of devices: no cliches, original and creative

Style 

• good mix of simple, compound and complex sentences 
• use of paragraphs
• effective and consistent use of first or third person narrative 
• Clear beginning 

Accuracy and presentation 

• accurate sentence construction
• correct use of punctuation throughout
• accurate spelling on complex words
• well-presented work; legible, cursive handwriting.
